Terms of use

By creating an account or using Wholeday you agree to these terms. Please read them – they're written to be readable.

1. About us

Wholeday™ is provided by Benjamin Mitford, a sole trader trading as Wholeday, United Kingdom. Correspondence address: c/o Virtually There, Collingwood Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. Email: hello@wholeday.co.uk.

2. Who can use Wholeday

You must be 16 or over. You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for everything done in your account.

3. Using the app

You can use Wholeday for your own personal, non-commercial use, except that personal trainers may use the trainer features with their clients. Please don't: break the law, harass anyone, upload anything you don't have the right to, try to access other people's data, overload or attack the service, get around usage limits (including AI limits), or copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app.

4. Not advice

Wholeday is a planning and tracking tool. It is not medical, dietary, fitness, mental-health, financial or tax advice. Calorie and nutrition figures, sleep insights, cycle predictions, pay and tax calculations, saving plans and AI answers are estimates and may be wrong. Cycle tracking must not be used as contraception. Speak to a GP or a qualified professional before making changes to your diet, exercise or medication, and get proper advice for money decisions. In an emergency call 999.

5. AI features

AI features are optional and may not always be available. AI output can be inaccurate, so check it before you rely on it. To keep things fair and affordable, there are daily and monthly limits, and we may change or suspend AI features or limits at any time.

6. Sharing

When you share with a home, trainer, partner or trip group, they can see (and, for homes and trips, edit) what you've shared. Only share with people you trust. Trainers are independent of Wholeday and are responsible for the advice they give. Money tracked in a trip group is a record only – Wholeday doesn't handle payments between people.

7. Your content

You own what you put in Wholeday. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the app for you (see our privacy policy).

8. Our app

The Wholeday name, logo, design and software belong to us. "Wholeday" is the subject of a UK trade mark application; please don't use it in a way that could confuse people.

9. Subscriptions

Some features may become part of a paid Premium subscription in future. If so, prices and what's included will be shown before you buy, payments will be handled by Apple, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. Your statutory rights are not affected.

10. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Wholeday running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own backups (Settings → Backup). We may change or remove features. If we change these terms in an important way we'll tell you in the app.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using Wholeday and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law, and your rights as a consumer are not affected. Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates in the app. While Wholeday is free, our total liability to you is limited to £50.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring claims in your local courts. If you have a problem, please email us first – we'll do our best to sort it out.
